Take 300 seconds today and rearrange the display near the register. Then when you want to suggest to a customer one more title to add to the stack, it’s within reach.

This is a good thing to keep in mind as we go into holiday shopping mode. Even though you know where your favorite handsell is located in the store, you won’t be as likely to recommend it to a customer if you have to walk away to find it. Especially if there’s a line forming for checkout.

Choose titles for both kids and adults, fiction and non. That way you’ll be ready for anyone approaching the register.
