Leaving Berlin

Author Joseph Kanon leads a tour of post World War II Berlin, as he reveals the setting of his new book, Leaving Berlin, a tale of an American undercover agent in 1948 Berlin.

Kanon created a similar video for his book Istanbul Passage, which you can view on his website. I sat next to him at BEA two years ago and he told me that at times, the crowds in Istanbul made creating that video difficult. “Anytime there’s a camera, they rush over because they think you’re Anderson Cooper.”
