I’ve always been fascinated with pop-up books. I’ve never been able to refold a map correctly, so the engineering involved with the creation of these books is difficult for me to comprehend.
In this video, pop-up creator Shawn Sheehy discusses his debut book, Welcome to the Neighborwood, coming in March. Sheehy is an artist with a love for ecology, and this book features seven animal builders who use their unique skills help them survive—and to live together in harmony in the neighborwood.
