A new, less aggressive ask.
Yesterday, I wrote a piece about digital tools you can use to gather more email newsletter signups through web visits. So, a course, I just received notice of a brand new feature from SumoMe: Scroll Box.
Here’s what they have to say about it:
Email is most effective way to communicate with a large group of people. However, on your website sometimes you don’t want to be too aggressive in asking for a persons email address. But you do want to ask. Scroll Box helps you ask them when they are nearly done enjoying your content. Scroll Box which is fully customizable, enables you to ask for emails at a whichever percentage someone scrolls down your page. It’s a great way to politely ask visitors for their email address.
Some of its features include the ability to slide in from any corner of your website, you control how often it is shown, and it automatically integrates with Aweber, MailChimp, Campaign Monitor and Constant Contact.
If you were thinking about adding a feature like this to your site, I thought you should know about this update.
