Behind the Scenes: David Wiesner’s Spot. Yesterday, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt published this behind-the-scenes look at Spot, a pinch-and-zoom iPad app featuring the artwork of David Wiesner.
Bright Lights, Big City. This isn’t book related, but I think it would make an interesting share on social media. The Economist published “Bright lights, big city: Urbanisation and the rise of the megacity.” Their interactive map tracks global city population shifts beginning in 1950 and forecasts them through 2030.
Location, location, location. Many of you have been suffering through a hell of a winter. As I looked at the weather forecast for this weekend, I remembered that Kenton sent me this photo a couple weeks ago, shot by Instagrammer Kristi Eaton. It sure has made me think twice about my chosen location!
