George RR Martin’s First Tweet?
At 8:30 this morning, “George RR Martin” (@_GRRM_) had almost 4000 followers, followed no one, and had just sent out his first tweet.
Remarkable. Especially given the fact that the account does not belong to George RR Martin.
By 12:00 p.m., the number of followers had increased to almost 5,000, but the profile had been amended to reflect that the account was a George RR Martin fan account.
It’s still a funny tweet, but this really is a testament about how quickly social media can change.
