Hour of Code
Hour of Code is a grassroots campaign with a goal to get tens of millions of students to try an Hour of Code during December 8-14, 2014, in celebration of Computer Science Education Week. But this Hour of Code shouldn’t be limited to students. President Obama even got involved, creating a box with code earlier this week.
If your bookstore has a website or if you use email marketing, it’s important to have a minimal understanding of code. I know you’re swamped with holiday shoppers right now. Khan Academy is offering three different classes: Hour of Drawing with Code, Hour of Webpages, and Hour of Databases.
And Skillshare.com offers a variety of classes for those wanting to learn beyond one hour.
