Ice Bucket Challenge Videos
The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is has been going strong, raising more than $10 million for ALS in the first week alone. I’m sure you’ve seen the videos. You’ve probably participated yourself.
I watched a few, because they’re short and entertaining. And I want to draw attention to a couple.
First, Stephen King who challenged John Grisham.
And now, here’s Bill Gates accepting Mark Zuckerberg’s challenge.
Obviously there’s a difference in production quality between the two. But the reason I’m showing them is to point out that there’s nothing wrong with using your smartphone to capture video to share on your website, your bookstore YouTube or Vimeo channels, or through social media. You can create some great looking videos with a device that easily accessible.
This is just a little reminder to turn the phone on its side when you record to capture the wide angle and fill the screen. A full screen just looks better.
