IndieNext List for May

The IndieNext list for May is ready. If you use Shelf Talkers for in-store promotion, they can be downloaded here. (ShelfWiz shelftalkers for May aren’t posted yet.)

Since these recommendations are from fellow independent booksellers, they can be a trusted source for recommendations for your customers. You might say, “I tend to like the same books as Sam Kaas at Village Books in Bellingham, WA, and he said The Orenda by Joseph Boyden was ‘a staggeringly beautiful work.”’

And if you happen to have a recommendation included, show it off to your followers through social media. You can take a picture with your camera or smart phone. Or look at this recommendation from Jenny Patiño Cervantes of City Lit Books in Chicago, IL. It was simple to capture this image by taking a screen shot of the PDF, and then cropping it down to size. Now you have an instant image for Facebook or Twitter.
