Little Golden Book Birdhouses at The Novel Neighbor
The tagline for The Novel Neighbor in St. Louis, Missouri, is “Where books, art & people meet.” I’ve been admiring the various classes offered at the store, and one that captured my attention this spring is the Little Golden Book Birdhouse.
Holland Saltsman, owner of the store, tells me that they have an artist in residence, Ellen Schaeffer, who teaches the majority of their repurposed art classes. The Little Golden Book Birdhouse project was part of their week-long Spring Break Camp activities. Response for this cute project has been so overwhelming, they’ve had to schedule two more classes.
