May Content Calendar

One thing Facebook does right is offer the ability to schedule posts in advance. It’s not a bad idea to plan, research, and write posts for an entire week, or perhaps for the entire month. If another topic, image, article or infographic presents itself during that time, you can still share it and just shift your pre-scheduled posts as necessary.

Here are a few “days” in May to keep in mind while planning your social media calendar:

  • May 1 – May Day; School Principal’s Day
  • May 2 – Kentucky Derby
  • May 4 – Star Wars Day
  • May 5 – Cinco de Mayo
  • May 10 – Mother’s Day
  • May 12 – Limerick Day
  • May 14 – Chicken Dance Day
  • May 15 – Bike to Work Day
  • May 16 – Biographer’s Day
  • May 24 – Indianapolis 500
  • May 25 – Memorial Day
