We’re a week away from the beginning of a new month. Here’s a content calendar for October to help you plan your social media posts.

  • Month long celebrations and observances include Oktoberfest and Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
  • Teen Read Week is celebrated from October 12-18.
  • Techies Day is October 3. If you have wi-fi and a coffee pot, you can host a coding open house.
  • October 5 is World Teacher Day.
  • Mad Hatter Day is October 6 and National Chess Day is October 9.
  • Dictionary Day is celebrated on October 16.
  • Highlight some sidelines on October 28, Plush Animal Lover’s Day.
  • But the day I look forward to the most has to be National Candy Corn Day, celebrated on October 30.
