Q & D Results: When and where do you get the most reading accomplished?
In a recent Quick & Dirty Survey, I asked: When and where do you get the most reading accomplished?
It was difficult to tabulate these results, because you read when and where you can!
71% accomplish the most reading at home, where you read on the couch (41%), in bed (47%), on the porch (4%), in the bathtub (2%), at the kitchen table (5%), or in the “home library”… um, the restroom (1%).
17% read during your commute on train (3%), plane (3%), or automobile (11%).
17% read accomplish the most reading on vacation.
And 11% are multi-taskers, squeezing in reading time while the family is watching TV (3%) or sleeping/napping (9%).
3% wait until the weekend to read, and 11% read most on your days off.
You like to read in the early morning (11%), in the evening (23%), or in the middle of the night (20%). And very few of you have time to read at work, either at the counter (3%) or while you’re receiving (1%).
And this response sounded just lovely.
“Once a week a friend covers the store from 6-8 and I go to one of our area restaurant/bars, grab a quiet table and read over a glass of wine or two.”
(I’d go with two.)
