A recent Quick & Dirty Survey asked: Do you carry remainders?

60% of respondents answered YES

40% answered NO

Several of the YES responses included exclamation points, and some comments included:

  • “We’ve been delightfully surprised at how well they sell.”
  • “Yes, to offer a discounted product. We do not discount our regular inventory.”
  • “Since our store also carries used books (as well as new), they make for a good intermediary.”

One NO response included this comment:

  • “We used to, but the variety available and demand for them dwindled.”
