Quick-ish & Dirty Survey
I think whoever established January 2 as Motivation & Inspiration Day assumed that your yesterday was filled with black-eyed peas, football, and hangover remedies. But we know from the very first Quick & Dirty Survey results that some of you were open yesterday. Let’s go ahead and humor them and act as though today is your first working day of the year.
Today’s Quick & Dirty Survey will make you work a bit. Not excruciatingly hard, but I am asking you to provide more than a yes-or-no answer.
New Year’s Resolutions do not have to be personal. Professional resolutions are perfectly appropriate and, I think, necessary. And sharing those resolutions will help you achieve them. For example, today I’m going to tell you that the Books & Whatnot email newsletter is going through a redesign and we hope to unveil it this month. And I’m also going to gather all of the results from the Quick & Dirty Surveys into one place. Because I’ve made these statements publicly, now I have to do them. And I’ve just established a deadline, because that’s how I work. I’m deadline-oriented.
