We’re wrapping up National Simplify Your Life Week, and my final piece of advice is this. Delete me.
Well, delete my emails from your inbox.
I try to keep my pieces brief and readable, but I understand how overwhelming email can become. If you can’t read Books & Whatnot in a timely manner, delete it. The newsletters are always archived in one location on my website.
Please note that I’m only specifically saying this for Books & Whatnot. I’m not suggesting that you delete other daily emails to which you subscribe. [You should.] But if they’re piling up in your inbox, too, check to see if they have an online archive. [They will.]
As you look through your inbox, if you see newsletters you simply do not read, go ahead and unsubscribe. All email newsletters are required to have that option somewhere in the message.
So today, simplify your inbox and rid yourself of unnecessary psychological stress.
