The “Independence Day” Folder

The “Independence Day” Folder

Last year, when preparing for Independence Day with front doors signs and answering machine messages, I provided the “days” of the next few Independence Days. (I know they all fall on July 4… but is that on a Friday, Tuesday, Saturday this year?) The thought was since you already had the design program open, you might as well alter the text a bit a print signs for the next few years. These signs created for future use were to be placed in a folder marked “Independence Day” for easy access this year.

So this is a reminder for those who followed this suggestion. You’re poised! Now you only have to find your “Independence Day” folder.

If you’d like to make a folder for future years, here are the next few “days” for July 4:

  • Saturday, July 4, 2015
  • Monday, July 4, 2016
  • Tuesday, July 4, 2017
  • Wednesday, July 4, 2018
  • Thursday, July 4, 2019

And if–while you’re designing–you’d like to make “Special Store Hours” signs for the rest of the year, here are a few dates to consider:

  • Labor Day – Monday, September 7, 2015
  • Halloween – Saturday, October 31, 2015
  • Thanksgiving – Thursday, November 26, 2015
  • Black Friday – Friday, November 27, 2015
  • Small Business Saturday – Saturday, November 28, 2015
  • Christmas Eve – Thursday, December 24, 2015
  • Christmas – Friday, December 25, 2015
  • New Year’s Eve – Thursday, December 31, 2015
  • New Year’s Day – Friday, January 1, 2015
