I’ve enjoyed reading your newsletters about the partnerships you’ve fostered with community businesses for the “Where’s Waldo?” Local campaign.
One specific campaign that captured my attention was from Words in Maplewood, NJ. The bookstore featured each of their community business partners in this video, which was produced by the bookstore’s filmmaker, Michael Keane.
I like that in the video, individual store fronts are shown to emphasize the bricks and mortar quality of a locally-owned business. It helps showcase the number of stores to be visited as part of the promotion. (A feat which was accomplished in less than 60 seconds in the video.) And it is an added publicity bonus for each of the local businesses.
