We make fools of ourselves so you don’t have to.

When I started Books & Whatnot, I used the program/website editorially.com. It allowed me to write copy, invite others to edit and comment, and then publish straight to my WordPress site. I loved it so much that I wrote a “What Works for Me” post about it. But before I could publish it, I received a message from Editorially saying they were shutting down the service because it was not financially viable.

And remember last month, when I told you about the great content calendar at repost.us? This is what I see when I click on their site now:

 Repost is shutting down.

Once again, it’s because of funding.

And then there are other apps, like this one Kenton made me test. Yo. It was featured on All Tech Considered last week for its absurdity in worth and function. This $1 million app allows a user to push a button and send an audible “yo” to another user. (How can I introduce these investors to Editorially and Repost?)

Normally I’d give you Kenton’s vote as well as my own. I don’t know his vote, but I’m vetoing it anyway. I vote “no” for Yo.
