WI9: Seattle
It was such a pleasure to meet so many of you at Winter Institute 9 in Seattle. I always look forward to the author reception because the hall is filled with so many excited booksellers. In fact, I took a panoramic shot of the grand hall… but it’s not very conducive to show in this newsletter. (You’ll just have to trust me.)
I did capture a few other photos, like the one attached to this post: Deb McVittie, proprietor of 32 Books & Gallery, visits with Krista Bremer (My Accidental Jihad) and Gabrielle Zevin (The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry). Both are published by Algonquin Books of Chapel Hill.
Did you come away with a book (or four) that captured your imagination? I’d love to hear what forthcoming titles you’re excited about. (Just reply!)
