Book Club Social Media

If you struggle to come up with content for social media posts, look to your book clubs for inspiration. Here’s an example:

“Our Books & Dessert book club just announced their next few selections. On March 3 they’ll be discussing May We Be Forgiven by A.M. Homes, and on April 7 they’ll discuss The Son by Philipp Meyer. The group meets at the bookstore at 6 pm on the 1st Monday of the month. (All are welcome, but you only get dessert if you *finish* the book.) Mention the book club and receive 20% off.”

With this post, you’ve 1) announced that your store offers open-to-the-public book clubs, 2) promoted two titles for readers or book clubs looking for inspiration, 3) promoted that you offer a book club discount. And if your store hosts multiple book clubs, you have *many* posting opportunities.
