May Content Calendar
It’s the day before May. Taking a few moments to look at the month will help when you’re looking at that blank box wondering what to post socially for the day. I’ve created a May Content Calendar with nationally recognized “days” of celebration. Just add your store and local events to the calendar to help round out your social media planning.
Some of the celebrations in May have a direct correlation to books and words–Mother Goose Day (May 1), National Teachers Day (May 6), Limerick Day (May 12)–but I’ve included others just for fun. Do you carry socks as a sideline? Celebrate “No Socks Day” to promote the product line. Partner with a bakery on National Chocolate Chip Day (May 15) or give a discount to those who ride to your store on National Ride a Bike to Work Day (May 16). And do you think it’s a coincidence that Clean Up Your Room Day falls on the day before Mother’s Day?
